What cookies are
Cookies and similar browser storage are small data records used to keep a web application secure, remember choices and understand performance. This policy applies to Shelfshot, operated by GARDNER CONSULTING LTD. Last updated: 21 July 2026.
Strictly necessary
Essential records support security, session continuity, administrator authentication, checkout hand-off, load balancing and privacy choices. They are used because the service cannot operate securely without them and are not used for advertising.
Session cookies normally expire when the browser closes or within the account-session period. Security and consent records may last up to 12 months.
Preferences
Preference storage can remember interface choices such as accepted cookie categories or an active workspace view. Where not essential, these records are used only with consent and normally last no more than 12 months.
Analytics
Optional analytics may measure page use, error rates and feature performance in aggregated form. Where consent is required, it remains off until chosen. We do not use analytics to train generation models or to sell personal information.
Payment and embedded services
When you proceed to a hosted checkout or billing portal, Stripe or PayPal may set cookies under its own policy to prevent fraud, maintain checkout and satisfy payment-security obligations. Those services control their hosted-domain cookies.
Your controls
You may use the site cookie control and browser settings to refuse or delete non-essential cookies. Blocking essential cookies can stop sign-in, security or billing flows. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier consent-based use unlawful.
